Rodney Baltimore interviews Director of Operation Safe Flight Vivian Roberts & Event Coordinator Sharon Walton. Operation Safe Flight in its 14th was the creation of the late Captain Darryl Roberts who thought it necessary to introduce children of color to STEM & Aviation. The event is free on Saturday September 20, 2025 at Opa Locka Executive Airport 14201 NW 42nd Avenue from 9am to 3pm. Children & families who be able to view and touch the Cockpit of an airplane, use drones, flight simulators, and take a airplane flight (Discovery Flight $30). Dorsey Technical College for the 'Free Liberty City Health Fair with the University Miami DOCS Program School of Medicine' Saturday September 20, 2025 at 7100 NW 17th Avenue in Miami, FL from 8am to 2pm. University of Miami Doctors & Medical Students will conduct exams for a number of conditions including: Heart, Lungs, Breast Health, Prostate, Vision Pap Smears, Dental, Stomach, Colon Cancer Screenings hearing, HIV and more.
